DAY 1 OF THE SENATOR DARLINGTON NWOKOCHA'S MEDICAL OUTREACH, HELD AT THE AMAKU NVOSI PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE; Over 300 People Recieved Medical Attention.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2025, over three hundred people, comprising men, women and youths drawn from within and outside Isiala Ngwa, received medical treatment for ailments ranging from Malaria, Typhoid, High BP, Diabetes etc. Eye care for Gluacoma, Cataract and other minor eye defects were also part of the comprehensive Medical package sponsored by the Distinguished Senator Darlington Nwokocha, under the auspices of the Maryam Babangida National Center For Women Development, Abuja.
As always, the health needs and aspirations of his people, irrespective of political party leanings, have been one of the central concerns of the Dist. Senator Darlington Nwokocha's legislative thrust right from his days through the Abia State House of Assmbly, the Federal House Of Representatives, and of course, the Senate where he rose to the rank of Minority Whip of the 10th Senate of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
Doctors, Lab Technicians, Nurses and other ancillary medical professionals, were fully on hand to handle medical issues of patients in attendance, as well as medical test / prescription, dispensing of medications, Eye-glasses for reading and corrective uses, and sundry medical needs of his people were highlights of the event.
The program billed for three days, continues till Thursday, July 10, 2025 and is expected to benefit about one thousand (1000) ailing people around Isiala Ngwa and its environs.
However, the Dist. Senator Darlington Nwokocha has vowed to continue to complement the efforts of the Star Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, who has, to a large extent, revolutionised medical and health-care delivery in Abia state.
