In life, every PRIZE has a Price tag every good work has a reward. The reward for a good work is more work.
When it comes to representation of the people in the government or even in the church and in all levels of the society has both a PRIZE and a PRICE. Politics under the democratic dispensation deals with representation.
The people select and elect their representative in government especially in the various legislative chambers of the local, States and Federal government, members have been chosen and elected to represent their people. It is the wish of the people that their representative carryout the wishes of the people by CONSULTING and PERSONALLY INTERACTING with the people he or she is representing periodically to know what the people actually want or need from Government or their representative and thus fulfil the essence of their mission in the chambers of govt. "THE REPRESENTATIVES ARE SENT' They are not on their own. They do not have their own mission apart from the welfare of whose who sent them.
The welfare of the people is the main goal of Government. It is the mission and duty of a good representative of the people to ensure that the welfare of the people he or she is representing are not neglected by govt. This will justify both choice and election. It will also justify the representation among other things.
Unfortunately, some of the representatives we have in different levels of govt today do not understand what they are sent or elected to do as people's representative which is why the people should not waste no time in replacing those set of BAD representative with the ones that can give the people quality representation, those that understands what quality representation is all about and those that are doing well will continue to enjoy the support of his or her people by reelecting them for continued service to them.
At the level of federal House of Representatives , one of the persons that any constituency Will like to have as their representative is Rt Hon Darlington Nwokocha
He's a man who . understands what quality representation is all about.
(1) Rt hon Danlington Nwokocha is a symbol of true and quality representation
(2) Darloo believes that a representative of the people are not elected to serve their pockets, their families or relatives alone, but all irrespective of party affiliation.
(3) Darloo understands that the duty is towards the people.
(4) He understands that a representative did not employ himself, but by the people to serve them.
(5) He believes that a good representative must engage in serious hand work in the chambers of legislation by introducing bills and motions, contributing to bills and motions introduced by his colleagues.
(6) He understands that a good representative deals with addressing the peoples charter of demands through intensive and extensive collaborations and lobbying among other members of the House.
(7) Darloo believes that a good representative must be present in the House every seating day.
(8) Darloo believes that a good representative while attending to official duty as a representative of the people can still make out time to interact with his people, answer their calls and make himself available and accessible to any of his constituents without discrimination.
(9) He believes that a good representative should attract and execute meaningful constituency projects in his or her constituency for the good and welfare of his constituency.
(10) Darloo understands that a good representative should always ensure that his or her constituency is not left out when govt is spreading both developmental projects and financial empowerment across the State.
He believes that a good representative should be accommodating, responsive, and humble.He believes in empowerment of the youths in his constituency with federal jobs not Keke Empowerment...
With this kind of man as a member representing the good people of Isialangwa federal Constituency, truly Isialangwa federal Constituency will continue to be better..
